I'm glad that everything is calm here again

I'm rank 16 right now and had a few victories vs. golden heroes and heroes full of top legendaries, but I lost vs most of those guys (there are a lot at rank 20 and 19 in the evening).

I won both mirror matches (2 aggro palas in a row ^^ ) and had several close losses with 1-3 health left (mostly vs players who summoned a lot of big taunts).
I had bad luck with winning streaks though and enjoy playing rank 17-16 much more than 20-18.

The exeptions are 1 coghammer --> 1 Defender of Argus and 1 Wolfrider --> 1 Argent horserider (many people in the comments use that substitute and prefer horses over wolves).

I'll buy a few packs (maybe an Arena entry, too) with gold instead of saving it for the 4th wing of Naxxramas this week to get some dust for a coghammer.

I finally hit Rank 15 for the first time, hooray for a better end-of-the-month reward

I swapped the defender of Argus for a Sea Giant (got one from the arena reward) and it worked very well at low ranks, sometimes I had him on the field on round 4, even without a coin. People sometimes gave up as soon as I gave him a divine shield ^^

I also started a face hunter deck, it feels "quicker" at low ranks. I think I got a slightly better win ratio with it and the games are half as long.

Snake trap --> Bear trap and 2 mad scientists --> 2 cheap units with charge (argent horserider for 3 mana and a murloc for 2 mana). I'll gather 700 gold as soon as possible to get those scientists of course (got 135).

One hint.Stop copying decks from hearthpwn and try to build yourself, its hard to get rid of copying decks after u have done it sometime.It will help a lot in future if u learn build decks by yourself

You can use hearthpwn decks as a guide but dont just blindly try to win with em. Adjust some cards if need be to your needs. (Sometimes goin up in rank changes meta a bit) For example at higher ranks (7+) people start running silences, big game hunters, kezzan etc.

Well there are plenty of above average players that don't build their own decks so this is silly. Trump for instance rarely builds his own decks.


Not that you NEED to netdeck or anything, but you can become a decent player without being a good deck builder.
