i think you guys are missing the point of f2p player

i don't mean someone who's played 12 hours a day for 2 years

power creep is a thing. but new players are now like 300 cards behind. it's not "F2p" anymore.

if your casually playing a game for free i dont see a reason to be upset about a pay to accelerate feature :x


edit, ya i do think that older packs should start costing less. but chances are once the game gets older instead of needing older cards it will just follow a rotation for standard formats like MTG and other tcgs

e: and if they nerf pack cost u still have to pay 75$ for expansions where you fight a boss 1-3 times and collect your legendary and forget it ever existed

You should expect to pay at least the same amount for a free game as you would for a regular game you would purchase.

To be fair, when MTG started to expand, the players thought that having a large card database would be negative.
Having a ton of cards and different builds of decks, which grants creativity and understanding of the game, is a good thing imo
My first reaction to this expansion is.. meh.. but if we can deviate from cookie cutter builds that nearly every player uses.. I'd be happy with it.

idk, to me hearthstone's charm was it's noob-friendliness.

if i wanted to play a serious card game and spend hundreds of dollars, i'd play mtgo or hex or whatever.

hearthstone gets pretty stale like 3 months into every expansion.

yeah I see some pretty questionable stuff so far... GVG round 2 it seems like to me, but who knows.. maybe it won't be so bad.

Also seems like the leak that was posted in general discussion turned out to be pretty legit. If you look at the imagine and watch that kripp video, you can see the imgur link was too legit.
