A lot of the best decks in the history of Hearthstone actually had very few legendaries

I was 2 days new when I made such an ignorant post

I was 2 off lethal using boombot with power overwhelming, so 75% chance of lethal.... then it rolls 1. Same matchup where I had a board of 4-5 minions and flame cannon sniped my 4 hp Sea Giant

back to back to back to back top decks in this order

Turn 6 - Mysterious Challenger Turn 7 - Dr Boom Turn 8 - Tirion Turn 9 Blessing of Kings

After bounicing back and forth about 6 times between 16 0 stars and 16 1 star, I lost 2 in a row and dropped back to the cow level

Having a 50-60% winrate between ranks 20-15 then a drop off of wins is pretty telling of either your skill or your deck choices.. -- or maybe the lack there of.

Sure some of it is RNG... But really a solid game understanding and a deck that somewhat resembles the meta will take you passed rank 15 within like an hour of game play.. Even if you started at rank 25....

Or it could be I'm about a month into the game and havnt learned everything yet, I still face the same net decks you do, I had a good run between 20 and 16, but that could be a lot of luck too lol

I bet you could teach me though oh great one, you must be legend #1
