yes i'm quite aware, but it was like 3500 dust for mech mage

rogue looks really fun to play but seems hard as fuck

oil rogue is hard, aggro rogue is the worst of the mech decks, but weapons/pirate rogue is still a fun gimmick and i think it got stronger in tgt.

coming back to hearth after a long time. just found out about the amazon promo, gonna get 2x 40 packs. keep in mind i dont have a ton of cards. should i get 1 classic and 1 gvg or 2 classic?

Classic set is useful but it depends how many cards you have.
Only some TGT cards have made it into current meta.

Best way is you look up the decks that you want to play and then decide what's best for you

I had enough dust leftover to craft a secrets pally. I'm only really missing a coghammer. I'm not crazy about pally, just ended up picking it cause it was cheaper to craft than midrange hunter (barely) patron war / meche mage / druid. i know if i were to play midrange pally id most likely need tirion and boom..

are there a ton of cards from gvg in the current meta?

piloted shredder, piloted sky golem, dr boom, harvest golem... Not so many are used widely. Mech decks mostly. I'd get 80 classic packs and craft what I'm missing.

Harvest isn't GvG
It's really just piloted and dr boom that are valuable from that set as far as neutrals go (I'm sure I'm forgetting something)

If you can believe it, there was actually a draft round bad enough for Holy Light to be the choice lol

Edit: Well, as strong as this deck feels to me... got curb-stomped game 1 by a rogue with what seemed like 15x 2 drops and I mulled into 3x 6+ cards like a boss and never recovered.
