Eternal is a dumpster tier game.
It's a hearthstone wannabe with a dev forced meta.

They've already nerfed control decks because they don't want games to last too long

They've nerfed combo decks because they don't want legend.deck being op

That leaves an aggro-midrange meta where the interaction is forced on the board just like hearthstone.

Imo, if you don't have a combo-control-aggro meta like mtg, the game destabilizes quickly. This is also why I stopped playing faeria.

rip in peperoni's eternal

so much for being eternal

How can Eternal be a Hearthstone wannabe when it follows closest to MTG rules...
The defender has advantage in combat unlike Hearthstone

It's basically a cheaper version of MTGO with some new concepts

I'd say it's comparably similar to both games.

I don't see the Hearthstone similarity other than genre

There are literal cards in hearthstone named after MTG cards

wildgrowth for example.. ramp in general an archetype that's likely shared between most games in the genre..

youre ignorant stfu

I don't know what is like now, but during the beta, the devs said they didn't want the g/w/u control deck in the meta and had proposed changes to it.

That left g/w ramp and br aggro as well as uw as the top decks, not very exciting.

Also, the stack mechanics in that game are nothing like mtg because there's no real priority on resolution leading to weird interactions.

Currently in masters i am seeing control, aggro and mid-range decks rather consistently with a few other type randomly throw in. The game is still in beta did you mean closed beta? Its my understanding the meta has changed a good bit since closed. I wasnt a part of the closed beta though so i cant say much about that other than things i read on the reddit.

I'm talking Eternal to Hearthstone...
Not Hearthstone to MTG...

Your aggression is strange
