you don't want to spend $20 to get required cards to have a "decent deck", that's 2 hrs of work for hours of enjoyment. It definitely takes much longer than 2 hrs to climb ladder without having an op deck

It costs more than $20 to get a lot of the cards lol. Anyways yeah I'd never spend a penny on hearthstone. It's for sure a fun game, but since it's simple you get bored of it fast

I know technically HS is not a pay-to-play game, but I honestly think trying to get enough good cards to make the game fun without paying money just takes too long to be viable. Assuming you are a newer player without arena skills, as opposed to a player starting an account on a new server. You can make a cheap zoo deck or a cheap hunter deck but the game doesn't get really fun until you have a few decks to play and some cool legendaries.

I agree, I'd rather pay 50 dollars for a game, rather than games like this. For hearthstone I'd pay max 30 for every card and etc being available, but blizz would never do that because of losing money.

I'm sure people would pay even $100 for that.. and even then Blizz would say no.
They are making way more than that.
$100 gets you a few legends lol.

Then go play a 50$ game

obviously you're not willing to invest anything into HS, and like others have said, it's not a fun game if you have nothing

Well I am missing 1 or 2 cards for some decks that can do decent, so it will be fun here and there :p
The main thing I find fun in HS is arena. I like them a lot.

You have spent longer replying to this thread than itd take you picking up aluminum cans to buy expansions to get the needed cards to solve the "help" you asked for in original post...

Most of the time it's not the deck

Yes in a perfect world, manu pros have gotten basic card decks to legendary. I'd bet most legend ranks couldn't do that. Its much easier for a top meta deck to get high regardless of the player, although at a point the deck will require a good player to make the most out of it or they wont continue to climb.
