Those are usually run in addition to smith's not in place of. With a good number of lists omitting acolyte, armorsmiths become paramount to combat mirror entity. And that's just one facet of their usefulness.

It's completely up for debate since plenty of pros have successfully does one or both armorsmiths.

show me the plenty of pros who plays single armorsmith.

Used to be one but nowadays I run two.



Armorsmith not even essential for a good deck... Especially in this meta you may gain a couple of armour from it but how often does that really save your life? Slots can be used for things more appropriate to the meta.

you can replace acolytes,you can replace shield block,you can replace taskmaster(s), but you cant replace armorsmith in my opinion

the amount of armor you can gain,is insane if u play it correctly vs control decks.vs aggro decks,is a silence target or can absorb some dmg instead of your face,which is important.

plus,contest leper gnomes,abusive,worgen and living roots.Can give you also the choice to execute something or even combo with task for +3/+3.also gives u easy trade vs minibot if u have war axe.

thats my opinion,but every player make his own choices.

All fatigue warriors run zero Armorsmiths, and a huge portion of control warriors are going hybrid control/fatigue warrior and cutting them.

We're discussing armorsmiths in control, not fatigue. I've never seen a CW with 0-1 armorsmiths, gimicky Reno decks aside.
