You're throwing big slow cards into a very fast deck that normally wants to win before turn 10.

It's just silly.

And comparing this to azure is basically just stupid. They are apples and oranges. Azure is 3 less mana and has better effects LOL.

If you don't have dr boom it might be fine replacement imo .. But I think there would be better additions .. Not sure don't play much mech Mage

This. It could replace dr boom if you NEEDED another big drop, but drboom is better and i don't even think you need more big drops than antonidas.

Point of Azure drake: it draws you a card.

The spell damage is insignificant in most cases.

Rhonin: death rattle; draws you 3 cards.

It is the equivalent of getting 3 VERY mediocre cards. I'd much prefer 1 card from my deck and 1 spell power for 3 less mana.

The thing is azure drake gives u instant gratification I could deal 7 dmg that turn .. Plus you get card .. And isn't bgh target .. .. Rhion requires at least 1 turn to work and doesn't offer you any sort of board clear

So a 3 mana avenging wrath that deals 1 more damage bad ? Also it isn't a mediocre card. It's just okay but having 3 makes it a lot better, that's like a 3 mana pyroblast to the face if the board is empty.

Also you can play it with antonidas and get 3 fireballs.

Wow cards can be good under certain, unlikely, conditions?

It is a mediocre card, if it wasn't it would go in every mage deck, like frostbolt.

There is a difference between putting arcane missile in your deck and getting 3 from a death rattle. A HUGE difference.

Also, by your logic, any card that isn't played in a deck makes it mediocre.. Lol.

Sorry to break your bubble but at this state of the game, a lot of good cards aren't played.

Getting 3 arcane missiles can be insanely good.

I am not saying an arcane missile is really good or anything, I am saying it's an okay card depending on the situation, and getting 3 at the same time makes it that much better.

A 3 mana deal 9 random damage would be played in any mage deck, period.


Also why are you telling me that I am wrong ? I don't know anything, I am just trying to understand your point and put it to the test to see if, that really is the correct answer.

I am telling you that you are wrong because you are fighting tooth and nail making poor points justifying a card that doesn't fit in an archetype i know like the back of my hand. So again, I'm sorry, but it just doesn't fit.

Oh and yes when a card goes in almost 0 decks it's mediocre.

If you want a deck for this card try flame waker mage. Where the missles have some synergy. Not mech.
