yea i saw sjow playing the deck a bit and it happened too ^_^


of course you shouldn't build the deck as a regular ramp druid but it might have some pentential
actually i thought the card was pretty bad at the release, as for grim patron in brm (which is awesome) and dreadstead (which is not as bad as i thought)


And communion costs 4.. so 4 mana to draw 1 card vs 2 mana to draw 1 card if you are at 10.

I beat a CW with it actually last season rank 3-4 ?

Problem is that your hand ends up weird. You have to load up with shit like nourish and hope you draw well or it's awkward compared to standard.

And then if you draw like aviana/kt/ysera astral

it's not even worth it to dump hand because no bombs left.

This card is only good if your opening hand is like double innervate + astral communion. 10 mana means jack shit when you have no cards.

I haven't tested it but i would think literally every card in it needs to 2:1 by either giving you extra cards immediately or creatures with card draw.

Every top deck is good.

You will most likely not be flexible enough if you don't play standard druid cards like Swipe and Keeper of the Grove.
Savjz is playing a deck with astral communion right now. He has a lot of draw cards light loot hoarder or novice engineer.
Makes the deck too unflexible in my opinion. Even with 10 Mana Advantage you can only play 1 big creature every turn and your opponent is likely catching up.

I also tried it a few times. Thing is if you have 4-5 Endgame cards on your hand and you draw into astral communion the value loss can hardly be compensated.
