I think you'd be surprised lol. Haven't you seen Kripp's video about the new players on phone ? They were complaining that Illidan (in the tutorial) was too tough to beat.

Good thing the heroic bosses don't mean anything. I still haven't bothered to try them.

If he needs further help with decks he can easily ask here and I know at least 4 people that will help immediately if they see it, not even counting me.

He will be fine with the cards he has.

Yeah, but I personally know some people who can't even beat the expansions on normal, that's why I'm saying that for some people, it can be tough to beat with the basic deck.

It may be easy for you and me, but we have a lot of experience. Of course I'm not saying it's impossible, but you may overestimate the skills of some new players :P

On topic tough.. If he buys the expansions and like 60 packs, that's a pretty damn good start.

I just recommend buying packs once he more experienced. He will end up dusting useful cards and doing things that make us all die on the inside, because we did it ourselves.

And again, he will get help if he needs it. Some people on this sf will even coach him through it and have done it before.
