Player who goes virtually always has the advantage except in particular decks where the coin is extremely valuable.

most arena decks want to control board and consist 1 mana cards
Would say control/combo decks like to have coin (beside using zombi chow and have it right from the beginning), so its not an exception

You'd be wrong. Statically coin loses mkre often for every deck. Miracle rogue is probably the only exception. Getting coin while facing a miracle rogue was half the battle.

yea because the meta consist of rush decks and aiming for board control
but if you decide to play control decks. the one mana works for combos (eg. coin buff mana wyrm, violet teacher, pyromancer, flamewalker etc.), aoe dmg and better curving

check hearthstats for control decks and check start-coin win rate. nearly every control class show the same results
