By rush I mean. Aggressive decks, often. With a high amount of cheap low cost monsters. Generally the game plan. Is to kill the other guy asap by overwhelming him with creatures early on

If you are VERY new/bad at the game I would NOT suggest arena actually.

Its a good way to learn and fun way to play the game BUT in the beginning you will have no clue at all what cards you should pick
when you draw your deck, and you will not know when you are playing what you are facing either really.
So that will result in you will get almost no wins all the time and that will be your gold wasted and you are better just buying packs instead.
Which you also can choose if you want the new packs or the old classic packs which you cant get in the Arena.

I myself played a lot normal and even ranked before going Arena, that worked out well imo.
But in the end, do as you want to do. And if you dont care about losing a lot or about the gold, then play whatever and however you want!
