I don't understand how people can spend so much. I bought naxx but that is it. I don't play too often but have most important legs and epics. I can understand spending if you really wanted certain cards but some of the amounts on this thread are crazy!

We love throwing paper at blizzard.

"we like to spend money for our hobbies" i would say.

Many of us take the game pretty seriously and/or want to gold-out some decks.
Opening packs is also a pretty addictive thing.

Im actually completely free to play on my account tho. Somewhat of a pride thing at this point.

Well if you take away my tournament winnings i'm at like 1400$ spent of my own money. I've been playing the game for roughly 17 months so thats 82$ a month for a hobby that I enjoy and spend a lot of time doing. I'll gladly spend 82$ a month on something like that. I spend almost that much when I go to the bar and I don't actually get anything from the bar other than a pissed off girlfriend.

Oh wait I get that when I play HS too lol

naxx and 40 classic packs. might end up buying brm depending how good the cards from it do in this meta

i have been tempted to buy more packs a ton of times because hs is the only video game i play and i am very casual so it takes me a long time to get the good legendaries. the f2p aspect is kinda cool too, it makes getting new cards exciting/fun
