I still can't get over how much money I've wasted on so little... it's that feeling of being invested, and not being able to pull out. So they release a $25 expansion (exchange rate will probably make it about $31 or so)... and it's absolute shit.

For $25, the expansion should contain one or more of the following:
1) Cinematic content / better story-line content.
2) Greater time investment (it takes very little time at all to complete a wing). Provide more play content within the wings.
3) More cards, more wings. There are just too few cards, and too few wings.
4) Better thought-out cards. The mechanics and cards being introduced are lackluster beyond belief.
5) Reduce the cost of the expansions, and release expansions more frequently. If expansions are to be lackluster, halve the cost and double the frequency of them. That's not a good business model though, people like to get hit with $25 once than $12.50 twice.

Time to ask parents for an early xmas gift?

I assumed you were not old enough to have a job considering how much of an issue spending $25 seems to be for you.

If you think being an adult means having a job and wasting your money, then enjoy. I don't enjoy wasting money. I did, however, waste money on this expansion. Why? I'm not sure. I have hopes that the metagame will be fun and fresh... somehow.

Seems fine to me and more than warrants its $25 price tag. Not once have I seen you praise anything about this game yet the amount of complaining about how the game is a money sink/lacks depth is overwhelming. What gives bud?
