Well, Freeze Mage should never win against a warrior that armors up, especially if they are not playing into big AoE or a Freeze/Doomsayer. It's statiscally in the warriors favor by a huge margin. ESPECIALLY since this guy got off 60 armor in one turn (I think at his peak he reached around 90 total health come to think of it).
Basically my strategy the entire game was to 1. force out the executes, 2. limit my draws and 3. remove his Warsong Commanders.
1. By forcing out the executes (which were on Alexstrasza and Antonidas) you're able to safely play your Doomsayers, safely leaving me with a total of 4 complete board clears. If played correctly you should go into fatigue, assuming you didn't have shit draws.
Also, he was smart and did NOT play into AoE, I was actually using Fireballs on his minions, because the less I get hit, the deeper he will go into fatigue. 1 Fireball to face = 6 damage, or I could prevent damage, live for another turn, putting him into next stage of fatigue
2. I had to limit my draws by making sure I had enough to survive a turn, because fatigue kills freeze mage easily.
3. By removing his Warsong Commander, not only do I prevent my Ice Block being popped, but I also have a turn to react. This gives me an extra turn because 1. he cant pop my ice block and 2. I have more mana to work with.
All in all, he was down to 15 hp with him going to die in 2 turns from fatigue, neither of my ice blocks were popped and I still had enough board clear to ensure I don't get hit. I was down to 6 hp and had 3 turns to live.
Oh you fatigued him.
Yeah that's pretty much the only way to win.
He'll just keep drawing his whole deck.
