Why is the arena scene so incredibly random?
I have drafted almost identical decks and had more challenging games at 1:2 than i have at 9:0. Some nights i cant lose even if I try, some nights i could be playing a constructed secret pally and go 1:3.
It just gets annoying.
Just lost a 1:2 game to a 12 win worthy deck piloted by someone I can only assume has downs.
2 lightning storms
3 shredders
2 totem golems
2 crackles
2 flame elementals
A hex
And basically top tier common non class cards at ever drop.
The person fished for a spell totem before playing lightning storm into my 2 2 health minions. Then the person uses a 7 mana turn to spell totem + crackle a 7 (obviously) on my boulder ogre when they had hex in hand which they used next turn on my pit fighter.......
How do these people draft such awesome decks and always end up going 1:2 so that i get pumped by them to end my arena lol
Last night I started an arena 10-0 with one of the most average pally decks you could draw. No weapons or middle game really....
The sways in player talent from one weeknight to another just blow me away
I can relate, have had plenty of runs with great 7-10 win quality decks and gone like 4-5 cuse of playing vs other ridiculous decks. But more often than not 2/3 guys you play in 11-12 win games end up being good players who have a little above avg decks. The other 1/3 depends on the person piloting the deck and luck so take those games with a grain of salt. No reason to get frustrated in arena, it's the true form of the game, enjoy it!
