yeah this.. If you ever watched ropecoach you'd know he's sitting there talking to himself about all his possible plays, and opponents possible follow ups..
Which we all do to an extent... But he takes it to the next level by overthinking about all possible plays, even the less ideal ones in order to pave his way into the rest of the game.
Is nothing to do with pressure.. I don't know how many times this season ive missed damage due to roping my patrons//trying to calculate or think to much before making the combo//play happen..
Shit happens.
Yep, I've already seen interviews with him where he said something like "You get 90 seconds for each turn, so you should use 90 seconds for each turn, since it's impossible to calculate the perfect play in 90 seconds or under in most situations." So few people seem to understand this, usually the same people who claim Hearthstone is an easy game.
I'm sure many of you know that Lifecoach is a former poker pro where he made most of his wealth as an excellent player, and many poker skills carry over to Hearthstone, primarily the intense math needed for calculating EV and probabilities for given plays.
I mean
maybe sometimes he chokes under pressure, but he'd be the
very last player I'd expect to crack under pressure being an extremely successful poker pro where handling your emotions is absolutely essential. I think it's that his time management needs work and his planning often requires nearly his whole turn and so he doesn't have time to execute his play and so has to rush to try to do it.
