If you're playing handlock and your starting hand is absolutely terrible it's not a bad move to coin tap on T1, especially if your opponent passed.

i've never played handlock in my entire life but i believe you do this to avoid the overdraw at turn 4 if you dont play anything
it's pretty common

I'm quite new at the game but using a coin like that sounds like a bad move...

on turn 3 u have 9 cards with coin,u will coin out drake or if you have mountain giant on hand,u will not tap in turn 3 so u dont overdraw and next turn get the giant out..but never ever seen before handlock coin out into tap.why lose the coin like that?

4 + 1 = 5 (base hand)
turn 1 : 5+1 = 6
turn 2 : 6+1+1 (tap) = 8
turn 3 : 8+1+1 (tap) = 10
turn 4 : 10+1 = overdraw

you probably do this when you dont have drake or mountain giant in your hand on turn 1 to maximise the chance to draw it by turn 4

handlock always have something to play.even a watcher/darkbomb/mortal coil...has so many plays.

theres no way to overdraw.but anyway.i just say that first time,in my 5th season into this game saw that and was pretty surprised.thats all.

/e. also its impossible to not have on turn 3,a drake or giant.

It's not impossible. Trump either did this last night or had it done to him playing at legend rank top 10.

Playing this deck now, the midrange zoo felt too slow for me and felt like I had to get really lucky with draws to pull off wins.

This new deck is more aggro, I just killed a priest that was using some crazy deck and had a minion that games +1 +1 anytime a spell is cast and he ran deathlords.
The guy played velen and double health on the minion and it gets to 8/22.
Long story short I got a seagiant out and the poweroverwhelmed a nerubian and just prayed my voidterror would win me the game.
Thing was like 15/8 and he couldn't shut it down. Fun deck
