I'm currently sitting at 4 points and already legendary for April, so will get a minimum of 5 points towards the WCT. I'm in the top 500 point earners for the spring tour, at what point am I qualifying for seasonal playoff tour/world champs events? like the summer championship etc

i am quite out of the loop atm, but i am fairly sure top 500 is useless and that you should have been in the top 128. But maybe that changed so I can't be sure

Challenger Cups qualify you for the regional seasonal playoff, but to think 0 people with point standings alone will go? seems silly

they confirmed that the top whatever # in points will make it. (i think its top 64 and everyone tied in points with #64)
45 was just the auto-qualify number that they plan on tweaking in upcoming seasons.
