in freeze mage it's used to find your burn/freeze and pretty much anything to survive till you can combo them. So drawing cards is key. Neither time is it really used to thin out your deck.

It does help you get to your better stuff which is kind of the same thing in theory i guess.

If you want to thin your deck a bit you should put in cards like novice engineer and loot hoarder that provide some sort of board presence.

Apprentice is pretty good with Arcane Intellect because 1 mana is actually a pretty big deal.

But Arcane Intellect is typically just a card you play when you have nothing else to do. It lets your opponent know either 1) You have future answers (flamestrike) or 2) You have no play

to be fair though, you normally don't play novice or loot hoarder unless you have no play too. Not saying you are wrong, but they are they kind of the same way lol.

If it's turn 2 loot hoarder usually is my play because it counters any 1 or 2 drop they play.
Then it also draws me a card so it's really powerful.

And if I'm against Rogue/Mage/Druid and they use their hero power to kill it, I've successfully fully stalled a turn. So it's my win.

i bet if i wanted to i could be top ranked in HS but i like ranked 20 for quests and only reason to play is for arena

my theory crafting is best around
