I played mtg for years, participated in and won some small tournaments, and I loved it. It is not the same game at all, hearthstone is way closer to Yugioh -however this is spelt- than to mtg

Were you around for Delver meta?
I'm going to play this on turn 1, then hit you with it 7 turns in a row.

played from mirage to innistrad (the extension, not the whole bloc), but I must admit it doesn't ring a bell... I played only legacy format tho, so that might be why

Eww. Legacy is so awful.
I'm going to spend $1000 to play games that are decided in 1-2 turns.

Hmmm thats not legacy at all... Clearly, you never tried and only repeat the opinion of people who never tried either.

I loved playing with every card, except for the stupid ones they did at first.

I can barely afford to play standard LOL

sold all my mtg stuff on e_b*a#y
minus shipping and fee's I got 6500€ out of it
that game is fucking expansive
but I managed to spend less than 1000€ on it by trading smart

Aren't you talking about vintage? Legacy was the mode they banned all OP cards or did MTG reprint all Moxes in some form.


Knowing the next plays isn't really strategy it's knowing if you will win or lose.

Arena is expecting the worst and preventing it and provocate trades.
If a hunter plays a beast I automatically get rid of it if possible, because I expect Kill Commands next turn.

started playing when i was 8 years old, costed me almost nothing lol, i loved land when i was a kid, so i was trading my "new" forests etc for tropical islands to friends T_T so i ended up with a lot of trading/selling value for everything else
