Shadowverse is insanely popular in Japan, its ranked #2 in sales in digital card games in world behind HS but its been out for less than a year and not backed by a super established company.

Eternal is a dumpster tier game.
It's a hearthstone wannabe with a dev forced meta.

They've already nerfed control decks because they don't want games to last too long

They've nerfed combo decks because they don't want legend.deck being op

That leaves an aggro-midrange meta where the interaction is forced on the board just like hearthstone.

Imo, if you don't have a combo-control-aggro meta like mtg, the game destabilizes quickly. This is also why I stopped playing faeria.

Plenty of people in masters playing control. I que into them all the time.

Yeah it's really hard to download the MTGO client or Xmage.
