LIke JV said they are that popular but it's last week of month so people probably just messing around having fun at this point. Even the tempostorm meta snapshot has them up as the top 2 best decks in game atm for the entire month including last week and this week.
I have no beef with Kaz he's a great card but i was trying to actually give the best info i could on the situtation. The way the meta is right now and the way it most likely will be. In wild Kaz will always be good but standard should be rotating out within the next 2 months mid april at the latest. I noticed they had low dust so figured i'd try and give constructive advice. Atm only reno mage is up in tier 1 with kaz and reno lock is tier 2 with kaz. The games are much longer as well. I do hate how the game has became aggro instead of combo/control but the fact is majority of the time you'll be facing the 2 aggro decks i listed.
Even the best professional players in the world lose 30-40% of their matches due to going first/second, rng, etc. So if you're trying to get higher rank with a smaller amount of time then you'll want to go aggro in which case Kaz is too slow. Now if you're playing for fun not really caring about rank enjoying yourself then Kaz is a great pick. He's a great card and soooo many options to craft different spells. He's one of the most enjoyable cards to play due to the fact that there are over 100 different unique spells you can create with him making him less dull. But Thijs, Krip, Dog, Reynad, etc will even advise against crafting him atm because the uncertainty of how good he will be in the near future. Not a lot of people have been playing since pre nax with surplus amounts of dust so when you only have enough to craft 1 legendary at a time you will want to analyze it abit.
I think people are making the assumption that i'm attacking Kaz and saying he's a bad card etc which i'm not. As i said he's really fun to play and a great card. But for now and the foreseeable future he might not be the best choice to craft if you're looking to climb ladder and be competitive. He is however one of the most fun to craft out of the listed cards op mentioned.
I say if you plan to have fun and not worry about rank and just enjoy yourself craft a Kaz since he will always be viable in wild and he's a fun card. But if you're looking for playing standard majority of the time to think about it more. Already talked to the OP and he does like Wild too so Kaz will be a nice edition but i still stand by what i said in the first post. I just feel as if most of the people here misunderstood my post thinking i was calling Kaz horrid or something when in fact i just tried to explain things in greater detail as to why or why not craft him. OP made a post asking which to pick and i went into detail with the choices and why rather than just saying a card with no explanation.
You mention that Pirate warrior and shaman are tier one on tempostorm, then neglect to mention that miracle rogue and reno mage are just as high.

80% maybe a bit much.. but 25-30% each as a representative number for each class is probably a fair number to work with.. not that huuuge of a difference. :P
60% warriors and shamans when 9 classes exist in the game is a kind of big deal... This meta is nothing to brag about or defend really.. its really kind of the worst meta hearthstone has ever seen.
Not sure what the name of the last tournament I saw was, but literally every player had pirate warrior in their deck lineup...
I've been playing the deck casually this season - When you are on a 9-10 game win streak with pirate warrior... You might realize too how broken it is.
I'm hardly defending the meta silly. I've said before I think aggro is way to strong.
