Hearthstone is just meant to be a fun RNG PC game. You put it into a card game and it's just a hassle to play. Rolling 15 dice every turn. Calculate 4 juggles and then the shredder that dies and who your boom bots target and how much damage they do all in 1 turn... No thanks.

Personally I'd love a hard copy set of hearthstone cards. Yes you would need dice and prolly a good 5-6 of each card to get two functioning decks.
Does me having to roll a d8 for knife juggles mean it'd be harder then pokemans?
Yes.
Who cares though rng works on computer it should work with dice.
Shredder dies shuffle the ole 2 drop minion side stack and pull top card.
Same for 4.
Discovery would be more of a bitches because you may need a ton of a single card if u keep discovering it.

so also for your idea you'd need a ton of each of the rarest card type if you wanted to use paletress

You would just need a proxy or a token of some kind for the random cards, not the card itself.

I agree that shredder and discover would be really clunky.

Imagine keeping track of old patron warrior with frothing damage and what not using actual cards. :x
