What do you define as playing around brawl? You don't need a full board to brawl

This is like my biggest problem as control warrior.

Trying to hold out more and more for the brawl value.

I always do the math and ask myself what the minimum value I'll get out of a brawl and what can I do about the cards that may live?

I just think about whether I've put myself in a scenario to deal with whatever is left

its really just the taunt totem that makes shamen a huge favorite vs control warrior as well as the ability to spam the board

Bloodlust and taunt totem are the only things that make Shaman good against Warrior

Yep exactly, so strong vs weapons

I mean no matter what my other cards are, brawl is not my best move.

Brawl works well against Zoo decks (massive creatures) but you shouldn't need more than 1 if you plan on using it at all. You can clear the board without it using Weapons, Ghouls, Whirlwind, Slam, etc...

This isn't true tbh.

Ghoul and whirlwind don't even go in 90% of warrior decks as far as i'm aware.
