The match-up is not as one sided as it used to be. If the warrior doesnt draw correctly the hunter will be extremely too fast for them to handle. Trust me, I love control warrior and you'll have games where you don't draw any early removal.

Control Warrior can be teched to counter any deck in the game except maybe Tempo Mage.

Well with Bash and double brawl it's not necessarily insta win
They would take some decent damage tho

Turn 3 Bash
Turn 4 setup the death bite.
Turn 5 brawl then the board is clear with 1 charge on death bite still left for next turn.
Turn 6 shieldmaiden

Effigy can be a problem tho

Taking for one matchup on ladder is generally a bad idea.

Just wait until turn 6 they said. You'll have Shieldmaidens they said. This was before all the damage of course.

3/2 into Loatheb -> Execute
Sludge into Leokk -> Execute
Armor Up

Assuming you didn't get anything useful out of Shield Block like a Task, War Axe, Armorsmith, Shield Slam or Bash

After his turn ended I had 3 health. It was over. I got Death's Bite though.
