pm'd.

The general opinion about disenchanting Baron Geddon (asked a lot in the internet) seems to be "he's used mainly in Control Warrior decks, but it's recommended to keep him".
--> I won't build Control Warrior due to the cost and I expect to defeat the BRM boss Baron Geddon with Shades of Naxxramas easily enough. Is there *any other* good reason to keep him?

I could almost finish this face hunter deck if I disenchant Baron Geddon:
http://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/kolentos-onog-tgt-face-hunter/
--> that 1 Snake trap is too expensive and I need ~700 more gold to unlock Naxxramas Construct Quarter for the Mad Scientists.

Having a deck like this or "instant results" in lower ranks is more valuable to me than having a Baron Geddon in my card list, but there is a reason why I ask for help from more experienced players ;)

Bolded opinon will change. Don't dust it.

If you are good with Patron and like playing it, then that by far, it's the best deck in the game.

New players aren't good with patron.

Don't do this. Please.

Ya but the deck is so powerful you can suck and still win. All he needs to do is get to rank 15.

But really just go to Hearthpwn or something and filter the decks that are for TGT and look for highly rated low dust decks.

e: here I did it for you, all updated decks under 2,000 dust sorted by descending rating http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks?filter-build=24&filter-deck-tag=1&filter-dust-cost-min=0&filter-dust-cost-max=2000&filter-deck-type-val=8&filter-deck-type-op=4&sort=-rating

look through and find something you like

Not the point. It's bad advice for new players, period. They will basically never pilot that deck with any efficiency, players with much more experience struggle with patron at times.

No. You cannot suck and still win. You will fail miserably

I struggle with it and don't enjoy it, especially vs all those speedy decks that are around.

@Voyaging: I checked several websites with decklists lately, but I saw 2 interesting builds in your link that I didn't see myself before.

There is a budget mage mech deck for 800 dust - including a 4:38h video how the creator climbs from a fresh account to rank 5 in a day (though he struggles pretty hard at rank 25; I just saw the first 2 matches).

I could also build an S16 legendary aggro pala deck from that list with the exeption of the coghammer.

--> my most pressing question right now is whether or not to disenchant Baron Geddon to get the much needed 400 dust. Is there any good reason to keep him? (exept for Control Warri or Baron Geddon BRM boss)

updated list of possible decks - calculated with a disenchanted Baron Geddon
- budget mech mage http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/298761-budget-mech-mage-rank-5-in-one-day
- aggro pala deck (without coghammer right now) http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/276624-s16-legendary-aggro-paladin
- face hunter (basic one, without mad scientist until I get 670 more gold and without snake trap)
- totem shaman (basic, without the expensive stuff)

Personally if you intend on playing this game long-term I suggest never disenchanting anything that doesn't automatically disenchant from the big button that disenchants all redundant cards.

That aggro pally got legend so if you play it reasonably adequately it should get you rank 15.

Honestly I'd just make whatever looks fun to you. Maybe try to find avideo of someone playing each deck and see if you like the playstyle

I'm a hoarder by nature, that why I struggle so hard with that disenchant.

On the other hand: having 400 dust will give me a much better deck than all the stuff I play right now. And reaching rank 15 rewards me with a golden rare card which upgrades my collection or gives me 100 dust. Higher ranks give even better rewards each month.
I see it as a painful investment into the future and will probably do so today or tomorrow unless I get good reasons to keep it (I'll definitely wait for the next tavern brawl reward).

Those mentioned decks are decks I could have fun with and I'm glad that I also get advices like "make whatever looks fun to you" :)

Just stick it out and keep the Baron IMO

Aggro pala is likely to be the overall most effective of the 4 decks on a budget
