Nef and Ysera have no immediate effect on the board at all. You can't do anything with them the turn they are played.
Neither does Onyxia, but gives you 6x 1/1s to immediately threaten them while Ysera gives you 1 random card that can be trash.
The 1/1s can at be used to combo with bloodlust, savage roar
And it's better at trading against aggressive decks that have lots of minions on board.

That's like saying Dr. Boom is trash. Does it fill your board? Yes. That's all.

Dr boom would be trash if boom bots were just 1/1s. They aren't though. They are 2-8 damage randomly put across the enemies board/face.

Nef and ysera have an immediate impact on the GAME. Not the board. 2 spells and any ysera card is a HUGE fucking deal. I understand why you think what you think, i'm just telling you why people don't play it. Alex too. Name one common big drop that is used that doesn't have an immediate effect. I dare you :P .

This, you don't want all those 1-1s in the board late game. Usually just clutter your board

Accurate. If you have a board full of 1/1s against say a freeze mage, they might just leave them so you can't spam out your bigger minions.

And then die to bloodlust or savage roar

I was just wondering how there hasn't been a single deck to use the card, because there is definitely a lot of value in it.

Probably because it's easier and more reliable to do 16 damage in 8 turns then force/savage rather than stall, play onyxia turn 9, and hope enough welps/onyxia lives to savage the next turn.

The best answers to these questions can often be found by just playing it yourself. You'll see how slow it is and how much tempo you lose from playing an 8/8 that does nothing.

You wouldn't be stalling for some "big combo" play. It's just a high value card that you can combo off of. You'd play threats all game, then drop Onyxia later on, and if they've been wiping your board all game and don't have anymore AoE you now have a free win.

I have told you twice now, because it has no immediate impact. You keep saying you just wanna know why it's not played and I keep telling you. We understand why you think it's good, but this is the reason it's not played. -_-

So either you have one card or i win? Those odds aren't too bad.

To sum it up, Onyxia is too little too late.

But your argument is incorrect.
That's like saying playing 7 shredders has no immediate impact on the game because they don't give you cards and they don't effect your opponent's board.

I agree with you, but the way you argue it is poor.
