The same exact thing deals with drboom efficiently. I'm not even saying it's a good deck, I'm simply answering your question.

Some decks might be able to handle a single gruul by itself rather easily if they draw the right hard removal, but virtually all decks would have a hard time handling multiple high grade big creatures. He has gruul+boom+sea giant+war golem in addition to al-akir and fire elemental.
If they dont have the hard removal for gruul he overwhelms and can end the game quite quickly.

I agree the lack of hard removal and board clear hurts, but i still think its a pretty good deck certainly capable of 12 wins in the right hands and without a good amount of bad luck. I dont personally know how good tank is at HS and therefore am not overly confident he will/did get there.
The weapons and bolts should help with the early game, and he has an aggressive enough curve that he should be able to make it to mid-late game where his bombs will do work.

Id like to see what the 1 drops are aside from the 2 lightning bolts which are pretty good.

some bad cards like tauren, bootybay, and gadget(unless you have low mana spells idk i cant see the top) but good deck overall gl in run.

Yea didn't even see the 1 drops. If he has some nice 1 drops, then his chance has increased for getting to 12 wins.

Also it seems like alot of people playing fast 1, 2 and 3 drops for early rush games. Without a board clear his going to have problems with fast rush decks.

sorry for the late reply! yea i had nice one drops, chow and others i forgotten. I went 9-3, wasn't the best deck, and the other choices on the tauren, booty and gruul(others were lore and i think either nozdorm or somethin) were the better ones sadly... was jus so legendstruck when 3 of them came in a row!
no hard removals yes, but i just never got them... :( oh and most times gruul was never hard removed, just out board control'd
thanks for the feedback and responses! had a blast! i was lucky for most of the games to drew all 3 of them by turn 7,8. would play boom, then al or gruul depending on situation and if i was in that position i would have left the game. :p
