I think currently wild might be more fun

that can change on a dime with any changes/expansions

More people play standard by far.
Its the supported competitive mode that virtually all of the streamers and pros play more often, which influences the more casual players,

Vastly, vastly more players play Standard, tens if not hundreds of times more.

I predict one of two things or both in the coming 3 months:
- a higher % of players will move to wild (not a crazy #, but considerable)
and/or
- player base going to thin out a fair bit

Condition: If Blizzard doesn't make changes to the game before the next planned expansion (changes could include a meaningful balance patch, a super early wing expansion, or features that really impress.)

Reason: Too much of the new set is useless. Like a present that you can't unwrap, hyped cards aren't working at all. Rotating out base set cards fixed one problem (power creep balance) and exacerbated another (limited card pools which cause metagame issues). Blizz's track record says they only get on top of things when there's a big reason that's in their face, so I hope I'm right. Otherwise they just change unnecessary stuff and make odd choices. Druid Barnabus quest would be potentially useful with Ancient of Lore (original draw 2) and Azure Drake. Both are rotated out through literal rotation or infinite nerfhammer.

2 days into the expansion and you've already decided it's terrible despite there already being an incredibly diverse meta lmao

You are laughing your ass off! :O

The meta was really bad for a long time. The new release didn't do a lot. Most of the new decks that actually are useful are autobuild... no room for creativity, have to fill deck with exact cards blizz intended

There's not much in the game bud. Just more "I attack for 3 and play this card."

Nothing new that's actually useful (competitive) AND introduces something new to the game. Mage is overrated. Rogue is only newish thing but it'll get nerfed one way or another.

''I wanna play where's the most player''

why does it matter ? Play what you prefer..

And it's not like it's a different game/realm.

You can switch from standard to wild with a single click.
