Thoughts about using this over Sylvanas ?

Just to get it from voidcaller, it's hard to get sylvanas out against aggro decks so having an extra powerful demon can be nice.

Also the ''it gets BGH'd'' isn't really valid here since it's played on handlock, there's 5 BGH target already (6 with Illidan)

And the only reason why I want to play this over another guy like the dread infernal is just because Illidan is a cool card and rarely ever seen.

useless card.

and barely demonlock runs sylvanas.theres no space.also u have 2 voidcallers for 2-3 demons.doomguard+malganis and jaraxxus if u have to get him on board.

that's not demonlock.. that's demon handlock.

theres a difference between the 2.

Sylvanas is OP simply due her effect. I don't see why a reason Illidan wouldn't work in place though. Definitely not as good and I'd probably look for other 6/7 drops.

And you said demonlock, which is something different.

Obviously I know illidan isn't the best card but I like the design, that's why I am saying that putting it in that deck isn't that bad IMO.

A 0 mana illidan is definitely not bad. And voidcaller without any demons in hand is total trash so adding one isn't that awful. That's my reasoning.



Well, the mains goal is to have an extra demon that can be brought from voidcaller, so the only other viable options are fearsome doomguard and dread infernal.

Unless you want to run double doomguard

so,you want to replace probably the best neutral card(which barely any DEMON HANDLOCK or handlock plays in game,with a trash demon card?

from voidcallers,you want to get on board doomguard which has instant effect or malganis.with illidan what are you gonna do?summon max 2 x +2/+1 ?and then what?

The reason why Sylvanas isn't played is because of the slowness against aggro.

Illidan will be used for the voidcaller.

Obviously, I know Illidan isn't a fucking top tier class otherwise everyone would be running it in their decks.

I'm just opening a thread about the possibilities.

I think I saw hotform playing illidan in demon zoo

Double doom guard is too much as they're unplayable for Demon Handlock. Dread Infernal and the other new demon from TGT are both good choices. I'm pretty sure it's like a 7/8 or 6/8.. can't remember
