Can someone explain why people fear this card so much?

I've had everything from coin swipe > turn 4 swipe, to inner rage + execute on turn 2.

Mana Addict sucks. Not sure why anyone would even play that.

I use it in kind of a budget freeze deck. It can do 5-7 damage a turn but rarely stays alive the turn it's played. :(

because it can lead to a very high amount of damage and it's not really hard to kill i guess

yeah but people go to such extravagant measures to kill it

coin swipe, inner rage execute, i think it's been pyroblasted once :lol:

When they see this they are thinking something like sorc apprentice + doubles arcane missile + frostbolt + ice lances for stupid amounts of damage. This card is not standard, confuses people. :P
