my god people take forever to take there turn, this one guy i played every single turn the bomb timer came up every time and was about to end when he finally ends his turn

Yeah, I get this a lot.. people here say that it takes a lot of time to calculate damage and the correct move, which I think isn't the right answer.
I've never understood why people rope all the time, it's annoying as fuck.. that's probably why they do it.

Some people genuinely take a long time to think through their turn. Ropecoach for instance.
