just play the game and learn. there is no point to rushing to the end with this game, just enjoy it. leveling is actually fun in this game. and now comes with important rewards for the story quests. Just do those and learn.

It doesn't.

You can earn up to 200% bonus xp from leveling multiple characters to 60. http://forums.marvelheroes.com/discussion/47946/hero-synergy-experience-bonus/p1

Bonus XP can also be obtained from Cyclops 10%xp passive bonus (have to level him to 50)

Mole Man Medallion (Purple) on Level 25+ midtown can spawn I believe 4-8 xp% bonus and 1-2 INT (1 INT = 1% bonus xp)

Then, potions can be purchased from the store and can provide other nice bonuses like Rare and Special find %.

IF you are asking someone here to pwr lvl your account for you, while a highly bannable offense (they do monitor email and password changes, as well as different ip logs), also seeming that you are on a new account, will take a lot longer. Be prepared to get more FG and pay a lot more than most.

So, like I said before, your best bet is to just play the game. And if you really like it, drop them some $ in their store to help support the best F2P game out right now. I think the 'Mega Pack 3' would be your best bet, and often times goes on sale for as low as $130 (But is easily still worth it at it's current price of $200), but that gives you a TON of great stuff. https://store.marvelheroes.com/wsstore_en_us/mega-pack-mk-iii.html
I've personally dropped over 2k on it alone, and don't feel the least bit bad about it. I love supporting their company and will continue to do so. But make your own decision. They are constantly releasing new characters and content every month. It's really quite remarkable, and I will always show my support for that kind of effort.

Lvling is actually pretty quick, especially when there is an event going on. The fastest lvling is by doing legendary quests.
Very fun game tho.

E/ in the past there were some nice ways of lvling soooo fast, but they are all fixed now I think.

Story mode was revamped a little while ago and I can get from 0-60 in half the time it took me to get there by doing legendary quests. Play story mode, enjoy the game, and you'll be 60 in no time.

I just started a few weeks ago. Day 15 according to my log-in reward. It's a fun game and I wish I had discovered it sooner because since I started playing Marvel Heroes 2015 I haven't even logged into D2, D3 or Path of Exile. I don't have a full compliment of characters yet. Just three but I'm hoping to add a fourth pretty soon, and five overall is what I'm targeting, once I can save up enough eternity splinters.

know I can trade in 175 for a random hero but I'd prefer to have the characters I want even if I have to save up 400 the long way. I'm just now learning about the legendary quests and starting to slowly earn the Odin Marks one at a time. I hope to save up 300 Odin Marks so I can acquire my first legendary item.

There are bumps along the way. Sometimes I feel frustrated, other times I feel like I have a pretty good handle at what I'm doing. I really don't want to pay for anything so I realize all the "free to play" content is going to be hard work trying to unlock. I haven't been able to get a good team-up hero yet just the standard S.H.I.E.L.D agent but I reached level 60 on him and he has some pretty useful skills.

Once I get my next two characters for the five I wanted all along I'll be able to focus on a better Team-Up Hero for 400-600.

The Halloween treats helped me level fast. Ironically it's still up for me. It's helped me gain some nice uniques as well. But I'll never be any good until I have my first legendary item, at least on one of my characters (I assume it binds), and some passive abilities with my Omega Points. I've gotten only 101 Omega Points saved up but the points I need, the useful passives I should say, appear to cost 300, 500, etc... etc... I'm better off just saving up for those than getting some of the smaller gains on the passive tree. Pretty much I can't take advantage of this passive tree for a while.

The one thing I can say for sure, I'm actually enjoying the game because I love the comics and the movies. Somebody told me I would really enjoy DC Universe Online as well. I just can't stop playing Marvel Heroes 2015 for now. At least until I reach my beginner goals. Which is having my five characters at level 60 (the ones I want) along with a legendary item on at least one of them. Eventually all five but that will take me forever.

I'll never come close to having all 52 playable characters, and all the team-up heroes, unless I spend money on this game. I really don't want to do anything other than "free to play" even though it's tempting to increase that really small shared inventory space.

David Brevik and Gazillion have themselves a winner in this game. It will only be better in the future.
A really cool feature I see in store for 2016 is being controller accessible. No more mouse and keyboard.
We'll have the option to set up our Logitech controller, XBOX 360 or XBOX One controllers and a few others.

If only somebody had told me about this game a year or two ago so I could have gotten a head start.

EDIT: And oh yeah, the hero synergy system. I haven't quite figured out how to use that yet.
I think I have one point being used in it with my original character. But it confuses me mostly.

But I'll figure everything out eventually. For now I'm trying to save up eternity splinters, Omega Points and Odin Marks.

I already reached a max of 3 million credits and just learned about the Prestige leveling system. And I had purchased a green pet for around one million as a level 1 prestige. I'd like to reach the level 6 prestige but it will take forever. I am now learning how to spend credits for what I need.

I read that the level 6 cosmic prestige takes something like 25 times the amount of the first five?
I'm still a newbie in this game. Day 17 here. But I can see myself getting to level 2 or 3 Prestige if I'm up for it.

It's nice seeing Black Widow's name in green letters: My first character. I've got three total. I almost have 400 eternity splinters to purchase the next one I want. I know that I can just buy the random hero token for 175 but then I may not get the character I want.

I think ultimately I'm going to try to land the five characters I want and get them all to level six prestige.
I still haven't gotten my first legendary item yet. I still have to save up around 220 more odin marks.

This game seems better for soloing early on. I feel too weak in groups because my passive skill tree is empty. I'm still saving up Omega Point. I have 114 so far. It's just a long process. I'd have probably been good at this game if somebody had told me about it a year or two ago. Instead I'm entering my third week realizing how tough it will be to grind things out.

Unless I spend money on this game which I don't want to do. And I told myself if it starts feeling like a grind I need to relax and take a step back. I really just want to play for a few minutes at a time here and there. I just can't game hard like I could before. It needs to be fun at all times. no grind, or else this could turn into Path of Exile, Diablo III or Diablo II for me.

My worst fear is my competitive desire is going to ruin this game for me. But if I have fun with it things will always be enjoyable. Since I started playing only recently I'll never be as good as the players who played early on, and even spent money on all sorts of goodies the game offers.

My best advise to any other new players. Just have fun and pace yourself if you can.
Free to play involves more effort to get what you want but it can still feel rewarding.
