Is this game worth getting?
Can you play / progress with friends / online groups?

More of a solo grind. You can progress with friends but really if you are all equally geared for end game content. The zone system kinda eliminates playing together unless you ONLY play with each other. End game you can play together but will need to grind gear pieces which can become pretty tedious for some people. I suppose the biggest problem is, your Mass FG will only get basically 4 Artifacts, and a Costume Core, leaving you Slots 1-5 to grind, a Legendary, Relics, Runeword (recipe mainly), and a Medallion. Thats excluding a bunch to make it simple, but basically the game is setup so you can't P2W, its more about the time your willing to commit. FG can help, but it wont do it for you.

its a decent game especially i you like the marvel universe, im excited about stuff to come in the next few months like danger room, but the game has a weekly patch/event and monthly hero releases, the ceo also streams with his wife and does giveaways
the community is overall good the pvp community is really small
upgrading gear is kinda time gated
you can progress with friends and online groups, i usually find my self solo because i find it more efficient
top tier artifacts will run you like 2k fg each for random rolls, you can reroll them after playing or through trade
slot 1-5 hero uniques can easily be acquired through cow portals raid only uniques and upgrading gear is done over time

It's the marvel version of D2. PVP isn't as refined but overall the game is more rewarding imo. Also you can respec all you want and play around with builds to either achieve end game domination or play a style you like. Also it's probably the best Marvel related game around.
