Who we are:The Misunderstood is a new raid guild formed with the intent of developing a tight-knit group of dedicated players whose principal goal is to complete
hard-mode raids. We are the daywalkers. We represent all that is good about elitism (ambition, dedication, perseverance, intelligence, cooperation,
camaraderie, and the desire to transcend our limitations) but none that is bad (egoism, exclusivism, condescension.)
Our Mission:We believe in a higher calling. We believe that as experienced players who have extensive knowledge of heroes, itemization, and encounters, it is our
duty to the community to give back. We believe that everyone has the capability of being an elite player, and, should they desire, it is our mission to
help them achieve that goal. We will always be more than happy to help anyone discover how best to prepare their heroes for end-game
raiding.
Our Goal:Our goal is to be at the forefront of whatever PvE content Marvel Heroes has to offer. Whether it be cosmic or chaos terminals, endless dungeons, or
raids, we want to stand at the top. We are the type of players who do hard modes for no loot, just to say that we can.
Our Schedule:We are guild primarily housed in the US, and as such, we will have official raid times centered around that schedule. The official raid time will be
Saturday at 12pm EST (9am server). Thanks to the nature of raid lockouts in Marvel Heroes, members are encouraged to raid together at any time
of the day, given enough players, and encouraged to bring outside members from the community together for pick-up raids outside of our official
raid schedule. The more people that are raiding in this game, the happier we are.
Requirements:Because our primary focus is hard-mode raiding, we expect all applicants to be prepared. In Marvel Heroes terms, this means you have at least one
raid-ready hero.
Correct itemization, 4 blessings, a rank 5 legendary, cosmic/unique ring, and end-game insignia are the itemization prerequisites.
We also expect our members to have at least 10 proper synergies for their raid hero, and we expect our members to earn, on average, at least
15 Omega points per day.
We ask this to ensure that our raiders remain competitive even as content scales, and future content is released.
Using the “Raid Guild” standard TTK test, we expect all melee heroes to achieve a TTK of 23 seconds or better, and all ranged heroes to achieve
a TTK of 18 seconds or better.
Beyond itemization requirements, we also expect our members to be able to take constructive criticism, and display high levels of personal
responsibility. In an end-game raiding environment, mistakes happen. We expect our members to be able to own up to their mistakes, and actively
seek ways to correct them.
And while we aim to always be friendly, courteous, and hospitable to our fellow members and our community, we expect our members to not be
easily offended. We are an adult guild, and it is not uncommon for us to poke fun at each other, or use foul language.
We also expect our members to be courteous to the community, particularly on the forums. While it is our goal to help propagate facts and help
correct misconceptions, it is very important that our messages do not come across as inflammatory or condescending.
Application process:If you believe you meet our requirements, and that your and our goals align, then we encourage you to apply at our website, which can be found
at
http://misunderstoodmh.enjin.com. Once you fill out a brief application, an officer will contact you in game for an interview. If we believe you
would make a good fit, then we will invite you for a brief inspection and TTK trial.
Applicants will be given a two week probationary period, for the primary purpose of ensuring that new members are active and fit in well with
the group. At the end of the trial period, you should be promoted to full member.
If you have any questions feel free to send me a private message on the forums, the website, in game, or hop on our mumble.
