I am currently rank 4 on control rod which is working fine atm, but my mighty punch gets no benefits from it, so i was wondering if gungnir would be better?

Wow that's a lot of gungnir's, gungnir would help with mighty punch but, for everything else it wouldn't (+ I have rod at rank4)

Gungnir gives crit, crit dmg, crit, crit dmg, and brut proc. It doesn't have a dmg type... Anything can crit. If you're playing hybrid ms marvel it's probably honestly your best bet.

I wish u could switch legendarily with it staying the same lvl for the same hero

gungnir for pure dmg, ccr for utility imo
