i quit after a few weeks, got bored around level 30-35 i think? (whats the max level now?)

how much better is this game now / do a lot of people play it / can you make FG off of it?

Depends on when you started playing. I quit around November-December and came back and I think it's in a much better place now. Hawkeye is decent, I believe he's had his 52 review already so he's ahead of alot of champs imo.

In regards to your 3 questions:
A lot better than when I quit.
Steam client reports a peak of 2-4k depending on the day of the week. Although, that doesn't include non-Steam players I believe.
Until this game gains more traction it's going to be a little difficult to get FG unless you find GG gear. All FG I have right now is from this game though if it's any help.

Vastly improved since release, Hawkeye has indeed had his review. His Old Man Logan costume was on sale recently as well.

Steam count just shows Steam users correct, no idea what ratio of players use Steam version.

really hard for me to play more than 30-45 min if even that. Everything in the game is repetitive and although some will disagree, I find no end game value at all. Most my heroes are 60 and have full uniques so I really cant find reasons to play.

How can you get to 60 when its so boring lol... I got 3 chars around 40 and I can't play more than 30 min a day lol

There is no end game. They have recently added Cosmic Terminals, but honestly the game is really still just 1-59. At 60 you just pick a new character and play.

I dunno, im kinda OCD so i tend to finish what i start.
But i am really waiting for the game to improve in a way that will give me something to achieve/ aim for
My Iron Man is prestige 5 but the builds and items are so simplistic that theorycrafting isnt even worth the time. Plus there are just a million bugs/ issues which prevent a lot of detailed theory crafting for me
