I just killed taskmaster, and says I have not killed him yet? (it might of been cause I died but I got bak before he died) anyways I was wondering how to reset and instance?

This is a bug, I also had to kill him twice on 3 play throughs.

Just re-log your game and it should reset for you easily. Otherwise go to any chapter select NPC and restart the chapter and go back to him.
