1) It's a f2p game. They owe your ZERO log-in rewards if they wanted, and people would still play because the game is great. You are looking at it all wrong. They are GIVING you alternative ways to unlock their content without spending real money. Even if it was 1 eternity splinter, every 10 days, it would still be a free to play game..
But it's really not a free-to-play game. You almost have to drop a little money to increase the stash size, if nothing else, because it's difficult leveling up characters and trying to organize everything around. There isn't enough room and you have to drop, sell or vendor off important runes, relics, artifacts and items.
What I've done so far is an amazing balancing act of keeping what I really need.
I just started playing 30 days ago. Unfortunately I missed all the fun stuff and great promo codes.
I'd have particularly enjoyed that iron man team-up hero that I saw but the code expired already.
I've been a loyal Marvel Heroes 2015 player for a month now. The fun for me is in the challenge of trying to unlock things for free. Don't get me wrong. That is what appealed to me initially. I guess I just feel a little frustrated it took me so long to unlock my first five characters and I still don't have a good team-up hero yet. And I'm at 80 eternity splinters now. Still 320 away from unlocking my first team-up hero (not counting the S.H.I.E.L.D agent I got for free).
Even that elite agent Coulson cost like 2,000 access files. I'm at 502 now. Maybe he'd be nice.
I'm tempted to just unlock the Groot team-up hero when I reach 200 ES but I'll probably wait.
The game is fun. It's worth the money but I have a right to express my opinion. It's how I felt at the time.
