When I played I always looked at "marvel heroes codes" and I got about 10 free random hero boxes...
From these codes you can get many other very useful things...

where are the hero codes?

btw i found this cool artifact that lets me teleport with using 5% of health its so cool and thats my movement artifcat i wanna bless it!

I see those codes but haven't used any yet. I haven't even posted on the forums yet. My account name is DreamTeam.
I'm just waiting until I become good before I do anything like that. 250 total omega points isn't enough. I need 2000+

I am using all of my passive skill tree points (nodes) though. A couple of useful low-cost ones.
I can now run some cosmic terminals. I can fight a little bit of the toughest areas too but not well enough yet.

The Black Widow is still my favorite character right now but I've only unlocked four total. I may get a fifth soon. I'm becoming a little impatient and may just use 175 eternity splinters to unlock a random hero. Odds are great that I'll get somebody new and not one of the four I already have.

I have eight characters that I know I want: Adding Captain Marvel, Invisible Woman and Kitty Pryde to my list.
And I'll probably add Storn, X-23 and She-Hulk after that. I'm aiming for all the superheroines the way it's going for me.

It just seems easier spending 175 eternity splinters on a random hero unlock than saving up 400 to 600 on the ones you are targeting. In theory, I could unlock a hero that cost 600 but only paid 175 for. That's a tremendous bargain I shouldn't overlook just because I'm trying to follow a dubious strategy of unlocking all the ladies first.

I usually see them on the front of the official website for the game. Maybe you have to scroll down a little bit.
By the time I unlock every playable hero in the game, likely in two or three years from now, there may be over 60 by then.

I'm still going to stick to my "free-to-play" concept even though it's tempting to spend real money to increase the stash size.
It's kind of hard for me to balance out my items, relics, runes and other useful items with a limited inventory and stash.

It makes it even tougher when I try for another prestige level and all of my level 60 items can't be equipped at level 1.
Thankfully the team-up heroes have a little inventory space which works like an extended stash space but it's only a little help.

This game is more challenging when you don't spend money but that's the way I like it.

By the time I play and unlock the likes of Thor, Hulk, Captain America, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Winter Soldier, Blade, DareDevil, Thing, Silver Surfer, Ghost Rider, Rocket Raccoon, just to name a few of the more popular characters, my passive skills should be very strong by then. I may have a few of the higher-priced nodes on the Omega skill tree maxed.

What's interesting, since I started playing Marvel Heroes 2015 (Day 23 on my recent log-in rewards), I haven't signed back into D2, D3 or Path of Exile in that time (over three weeks now). I'm going to have to sign back into them soon to make sure my old characters are still okay. On D2 they may disappear for inactivity if I recall. But for three months I think. My D3 and POE toons should be fine.

Marvel Heroes 2015 will soon add their controller access to the game. Somebody told me that feature is probably coming around Christmas time but no later than January or February (early part of 2016), That's going to be really cool being able to set up an XBOX One, XBOX 360 or a Logitech controller to the game. Some other controllers were mentioned as compatible as well but those were the three best ones.

I won't have to use my keyboard or mouse to play the game anymore. Marvel Heroes 2015 with a controller is going to be the best feeling ever. I've had tons of fun using both an XBOX 360 and Logitech controller playing games such as NBA 2K14 for the PC, as well as the old NES, Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo and N64 games that I occasionally play on the Vizzed.com emulators.

When I'm able to play Marvel Heroes with a controller it's going to feel like gaming heaven.

I just found that promo stuff too. Thanks for the link.

I'm leveling Emma Frost right now. She has some fun skills. I've had the same elite hydra gunner assisting me from level 1 to 31 so far. It's zapping away things faster than my S.H.I.E.L.D agent team-up hero.

I compiled 320 eternity splinters, slowly but surely (started from 0 after I unlocked Emma Frost for 400). Pretty close to getting my fifth character. I decided to just get the ones I want. Rather than a random hero for 175.

What is a medal slot?

I'm trying to unbind an artifact but I don't know what the third ingredient "medal slot" is?

I have the artifact, complex enhanced genome but I just need the medal slot. I've tried anything to everything but no luck.

I found it guys. It was Magneto's Medallion that I needed. Thank goodness.
I've already unbinded two artifacts for Emma Frost to use at level 48 and 52.
I'm at level 42 now. But now leveling is slower. I'm taking my time and in no rush.

I had finally unlocked my fifth character for 400 ES, Jean Grey. She's at level 38 now.
Now I have 50 eternity splinters saved up. When I reach 400 again I may unlock the Spider-Gwen team up hero.

Even on the cheap end it's tempting to just unlock the Groot team-up hero for 200 but I haven't even done that yet.

I've been using only the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent team-up hero the entire time. I want some diversity there.
I have been doing things the hard way, unlocking characters at full price, instead of the 175 random hero.

But full price unlocking is the only way you can assemble the roster you want.
There are eight characters I want to start off with. 5/8 of the way there already.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to unlock the Spider-Gwen team up hero before the next three.
I was looking at some of her skill set. She could be a nice asset for my current heroes.

I'm nearing 30 days of service for my daily log-in rewards. Every 10 days in intervals of 10-20-30-40-50, etc... etc... It will give me 10 eternity splinters. I wish it was more like 25 or 50 though. 10 is really too low to be much of a reward. Come on, Gazillion. Should have made that reward a little more worthwhile and exciting for logging in every 10 days.

Pretty much all I care about in this game right now are eternity splinters. And it's tough to save them up.

1) It's a f2p game. They owe your ZERO log-in rewards if they wanted, and people would still play because the game is great. You are looking at it all wrong. They are GIVING you alternative ways to unlock their content without spending real money. Even if it was 1 eternity splinter, every 10 days, it would still be a free to play game..

2) I had the eternity splinter boost potion going for a long time and have every hero unlocked in the game, and am currently sitting on 2700+ Eternity Splinters I can use for the next several new heroes they release. You'd be amazed at how much that potion is worth. If you love the game, show them by dropping a little $. It's the only way great f2p games like this stay in business. And for those that say they don't have $5-20 bucks to drop on a game they claim to love, every few months, or even a couple times a year, then I say to you, you need to make some serious life re-evaluations if $5-20 is too much for you, then maybe you shouldn't be playing games all day?
