There are some classes that are noticeably more "fluid" than others. Meaning their management kit is better designed. Whether or not their damage is top tier, the game is do-able to the full extent, without going insane, until that character gets its next review. Hulks animations are terrible, his movement is clunky, and his rotation, and the only build worth playing imo, is boring. But, his DPS is solid, just poor at management his survival in later content. Gaz will do a review eventually, making him more balanced.
Regardless, this game is still more fun, and competitive with games like D3. At least this game has growing endgame content, frequent new character integrations, and ever expanding "end-game" skill sets (omega system). I've played both games since both their releases, I still and always will prefer MH. I wish more people played, I just don't think a lot know about it. More should be done to spread the word to friends who play those shitty other games. Just my 2 cents.

i want kitty pryde :(
what tier is Hulk?

I think squirrel girl and storm are like way bottom tier right?
I got them both through cosmic trial

Mr Doves answered your question, his leap build can do top tier damage fine, but he's so clunky it's hard to dodge boss mechanics in raids. If you try for pub games, it's rare people will let you bring low tier heroes unfortunately, everyone wants quick and dirty fast runs. If you have a guild however they should let you bring whomever you please because it's all about fun in the end.

Another thing you can do is raid and farm end game content with top tier hero and then use the currency/drops to gear whomever you please, which is what I do.

The Mavericks are an excellent guild if you are looking, apply on their website (applications for some time zones are closed, but just lie and pretend to be from australia or something).

Sorry for all this discussion in your thread op, I will upgrade my offer to well rolled SWGN(90% dmg)+Gok (8xx/8xx/2xx/2xx) for 250, lmk.

Most of the SG (Supergroup/Guild) are pretty good, I would just avoid the big ones like /r/vengers because although they have tons of decent people, when SGs get that big there will always have a few rotten apples. I've heard some pretty bad stories from people being kicked for asinine reasons from there after giving the community their effort and time. I've been in /r/vengers, The Mavericks, Marvel Heroes Academy (Their goal is to help new players and help game grow). I left /r/vengers due to members being kicked and drama, and I was kicked from the other 2 for inactivity lol. I tend to take breaks from games ><.
