check your character stats when equipping the bow. i believe the 14% additional attack speed occurs for the powers under the archery branch (i.e. ONLY pinning arrow and wave of arrows) and not the basic attack. only the 8% additional attack speed applies to the basic attack. i just noticed this was how items of these nature worked on my daredevil.

triple arrow is in Archery. it counts.

i thought it would for my daredevil in terms of his basic attacks, but it doesn't count. only active powers count..

It does count for basic powers if under the specific tree it just doesn't show up in the tooltip of your basic powers for some reason.

i highly doubt it. that's what i thought at first as well, but my daredevil hit slower with an 8% + 15% to active powers in cane-fu than with a flat 15% attack speed bonus.

This is tested and confirmed with my hawkeye with a +ias to archery bow. Hopefully this is something they remedy.

I have a 39 dmg bow with similar stats ....theres always better.
