If the adjust a skill, or need to remove a skill for for a certain mechanic issue they will offer you a free respec. Take hulk for example they had a quick hotfix because mighty slam was bugging out and causing lag so they removed it from the game temporary and offered all hulk players a free respec. I do think their prices on champions are outrageous and I especially find it kind of scumbag like to charge more for champs that are popular but as always you can farm them out instead of buy the price the drop rate is insanely small but it is in fact an options.

There were changes in several heroes in the patch notes yesterday. Did they offer repecs for them?

If they did, I missed that.

Whether the changes increase or decrease damage is not my point.....apparently you've missed my entire thesis. In instances where money is involved for specific classes, abilities, or items, and not simply as a sticker price on the game as whole the tweaking of said abilities, items, and classes should be done before they're sold.

This is an opinion.....so snide comments, sarcastic tones, and snark mean nothing.

nah spruce the changes on those heroes were minor tweeks they aren't going to offer a free reset on balancing of skills. but when it comes to a complete change in a skill or removal or addition of skills they will toss you a free respec of the hero as long as you own him. They seem to be pretty fair about it IMO but hopefully they dont end up getting to money hungry with 20$ champs and 15$ skins all day long I mean heck even their endgame requires $$ if you wanna speed up your farming without having to grind out CK's.

I'm cool with the skins costing that much because they're more or less cosmetic, and the drop rate for the cosmic keys seems to be decent from what I'm hearing. That's just pay to be lazy/pretty, not pay to win....so no problem there.

And things like tweeking skills without offering a respec is dirty pool to me....only because individual characters cost money. In a game like diablo you spent $xx on the game and got all of the content, and IIRC every character got 3 respecs for "free" from akara. People still complained....so they implemented a way to farm pieces to make a respec token, and made the drop rate on those pieces pretty common.

I'm done arguing with this as I've stated before that this is opinion, but D2 set the precedence for respecing characters and it's worked so far....

Just wanna say - D2 released in 2000, and the ability to respec didn't come into play until 1.13, which released in March of 2010. There was absolutely NO respec feature in D2 until 2010; prior to that, if you messed up/wanted to try something new, you were making a new character.

This precedent wasn't set by D2 in any way.

Of course, but this is no longer 2010. Spruce is simply making a statement that this game is more of a friendly environment.

This game was not made for us hardcore APRG fans, but more so for the comic universe to make a ton of money of nerds. I do agree with everyone that the prices on the Heroes are ridiculous. I had a feel so I am an ultimate pack owner because I blow money on cosmetics ect ect.

Skins / Heroes

Skins of course are gonna range 10-15$ especially in a highly animated mmo/rpg style game. The champions shouldn't be more then $5-$10 if they expect to keep a steady income like League of Legends has. After all League "probably" has the most successful Micro-Trans store out.

Respec Potion

Sense they are drop it is more then understandable for them to cost about a dollar for one from the micro-tran store. I think that should be a quick way to purchase and not the domain. They really need to just add a way to farm a respect potion other then re-rolling a starter character or something to grab one up. If I continue to enjoy the game and make it to my 60's I will constantly be re-specing as a ARPG lover looking for those dominant PVE/PVP builds.

I bought him. He is pretty good at clearing trash and pretty good at boss fights if you know how to kite.
If you haven't all ready buy some G's and support Gazilion.

Also Jake I would look into his Dodge build. Its pretty broken. Shouldn't have to kite very much.
