I would say colossus, Ms Marvel, Nightcrawler, Moon knight DP are all solid choices. Storm is good too if you dont mind dying

My storm is most equipped and I die about 3-4 times a cosmic hood. Im just curious once I get these to 60 who I should gear first and im steering towards storm or Ms. marvel

All are acceptable options. Ms Marvel being the tankiest of the choices. Realistically, you'd be fine with Witch, Marvel, or Storm. Just figure out which playstyle you like the most.

If dying a few times per run doesn't bother you, go with storm. Otherwise I would choose Ms.Marvel.

I don't die on my Storm, you just have to be more mindful.

Before the patch I would have said Storm and Scarlet Witch are top 2 but the changes kind of hurt their clear time for cosmic. After the patch my list goes:
Ms M since melee got a slight buff
Cable because he's never been bad, just not good compared to pre nerf storm. Out of the list he probably has the fastest boss kill time
Storm - ball lightning and freezing tempest got nerfed (although they were borderline op to be fair)
Emma I've never played her but a tanky pet makes doing cosmics much more manageable
SW she can't bewildering hex bosses anymore and her main dmg spell roots you. Makes for bad times, especially against doom

An honorable mention that isn't on the list but is probably better than all of them by a slight margin: Taskmaster. His dmg output is insane and his survivability is great with proper stances. He is the best 200 splinter hero in my opinion.

What kind of a set-up would you use for Taskmaster? Skills and gear-wise?

Variation of a build I saw on forums. Its neat in that it has no "basic attack" and does a good amount of dmg.

Skills:

20 points:
Impervious Soldier
Fearless Acrobat
Dismember
Rebounding Shield
Shield Crush
Nerve Gas Arrow

Everything else:
Action! (signature) - 8
Relentless, Web Net - 1

Rotation:
Webnet, Rebounding, Nerve Gas, Shield Crush, Dismember. Refresh DoTs as necessary. Make sure to always keep Shield Crush and to always do it after rebounding shield for guaranteed 50% dmg increase.

Original build maxes Peerless Archer instead of Fearless Acrobat for an extra DoT (plus 5% atk spd and brutalrating) but I prefer survivability. Have nearly same boss dummy kill time as well so I think mine wins out.

Gearwise:Mahts (superheroic), Crimson Crystal of Cyttorak (aim for 1650+ health / 500+ dmg / 2% invul proc), Adv Metasensory (gonna replace with HoD just too lazy), Ziggurat of Kargul
All helas. Fandrals vs Helas is preference.

Slot 1 - Taskmaster Unique
Slot 2 - Nate Grey Psionic Armor
Slot 3 - Girdle of Frost Giant
Slot 4 - taskmaster unique
Slot 5 - Taskmaster unique

Relic: Chandilar. you can go lemurias if you want.

Runeword: River of the Soul on 200phys dmg uru.

Costume Core: I'm looking for 6k Health Regen/400 LoH core, but any 400 LoH will do.

Insignia: Looking for Hawkeye with 450+ combine crit rating and either health or crit dmg. Currently using O Grady with + to range and melee.

Legendary:
Ares Axe (gungnir is good if you cant find crit)

Boss dummy kill in ~16 seconds (havent maxed my Legendary). Can solo cosmic kurse in about 2:10ish minutes. After the patch he's become a really good hero and the build is neat in that you can sustain your spirit even without a basic.

Sorry for wall of text!
