I want to try P99 out, have NEVER played EQ on PC before. What do I need, will it cost me anything to get started? etc.

obtain the titanium eq client, then follow the instructions on p99 site

if you get stuck on something just search the forums and 99% chance that its already been asked and answered


its 100% free to play unless you buy titanium off of amazon or somethin, but theres no reason to buy it :P

Brand new server just came out starting in classic with 3 month expansion unlocks

tbh p99 would be better if they opened a new server, but if hes never played eq then the nostalgia wont be there

edit: only reason new prog server could be considered better is that its a fresh server, other than that p99 is way >

The only reason to play p99 is for nostalgic purposes. If you've never experienced classic EQ and you are coming from modern MMOs you will hate it, IMO.

Not true, many people have started on EqEMUs as their first MMO and gotten hooked. It's just a fun game straight up. Sure there is a learning curve, but if your willing to put some time in its an amazing game.
