just looking for someone who actively plays both games to give me a good comparison between the 2

I don't actively play Wow myself, but I have tried it and didn't like it.
My friends that play everquest now, all enjoy it much more than they enjoyed WoW.

Im refering to everquest 2 btw, not sure if it makes a difference.

I played wow and now its really easy to level and they have nerfed almost everything to the point that anyone can do it (minus heroic raids)

if you are looking for a challenging game definitely go for everquest. i never played everquest 2 but everquest 1 was very challenging in the way that you had to spend a lot of time to see results.

Basically if you are looking for an easy game go Wow hard game go everquest. (from my experience at least)

Everquest is ezmode now too.

I played both. Imo they both are fun in their own ways, only wow gets boring a lot faster. I still play everquest on a decently populated emu server that recreates classic everquest, the best kind. Project 1999 its called, its only up to the first expansion as of yet and i am still having tons of fun there even after playing it for the last 2 years nonstop. If you were into classic everquest id def recommend checking it out and its completely free. Just so you know the top end raiding scene is kinda jacked and Fd but the journey to the top end is just as awesome as classic everquest ever was.
