Hey guys I'm currently just wanting to figure out the best server for this game? I use to play a very long time ago, then started eq2, but I don't want to have to pay to play a game any more. So just wondering what's the best free server for Eq?

Test, because it's gold membership for free and double exp.


not a lot of people play it though, which is nice if you plan on boxing 3+ toons all with free gold membership.

Oh and currently buying plat on vox server

From the patcher select test instead of live.

EDIT: I would create a backup of your EQ directory since the test files are different, of course.

Best free server = vox (in terms of population), if you subscribe, roll on a progression server, they are currently on the planes of power.
Test server is free gold membership, but the population is terrible.
