I would appreciate no spam, as I paid for the topic title. I remade this thread, and bolded it, in an effort to seek more people interested in a team walking through a game together. It will be a lot of fun.
Why should you bother playing is probably your first question ...?
Well.. If you have something better to do, then you shouldn't bother playing.. If you're like me however, with plenty of time to kill, this is a great way to do it, and actually make some progression in the game you can reflect on.
This game isn't for people who like extremely action oriented games, as it takes a LOT of strategy, but there are also very intense moments in the game. It is a complex, but rewarding way to spend your time.
What have you got to lose? Give it a try, I guarantee if you play it for a few days you'll fall in love with it.
Pros:- There are 16 classes, so you can definitely pick the role you most enjoy
- There are 15 races to pick from, which means you can diversify the way you look.
- We could make our own guild, and feel a team experience
- Tons of enemies to kill
- You don't ever feel like you're "Grinding", as you tend to fight more difficult monsters for higher amounts of EXP.
- You don't need to quest for EXP, like most games that are out there. You can just kill kill kill.
- There are thousands of spells in the game
- Everywhere you go, it actually feels like an adventure rather than a job
- The world is MASSIVE
- Tons of enemies, and tons of great loot, the game is all about getting amazing gear, but it isn't ridiculous like WoW.
- Literally hundreds of bosses and mini bosses.
Cons:- If you die, you have to go retrieve your body. You don't lose any items as long as you get it, but you also lose EXP. Nobody else can loot your body, but they can drag it for you if you allow so. (This could be a pro for people who like difficult games).
- Some classes are race-bound, which isn't really a huge deal.
- The graphics aren't exactly "up to date", but they are DEFINITELY better than 90% of MMORPG's out there.
- Slow learning pace
- Difficult to master

TL;DR Version: A great MMORPG experience for people who are willing to give it a try. There's nothing to lose, and it's a great experience. It will be amazing fun with a team.
