Is this everquest next beta? Im confused.

Nope, just a new progression server that they are releasing today. It will start off as straight classic EQ and unlock a new expansion every 6 months (I believe is what the timeframe is.)

Edit: Guess I can't really say straight classic EQ, there will be some things available that were not in 1999.. like the map, find command, revamped zones, some other stuff.. not a huge deal to me, but is apparently to some people.

Yeah the real old school hardcore players don't even use maps I can vouch because my brother played EQ since the release lol
But point is its classic content which is awesome imo
EQ is great for me because people are nice to eachother and the group play is great
Hope to see some of you guys there for sure pm me if you decide to play!
